GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Responsible for the supervision of non-clinical education to include the assessment of learning needs and
the development, implementation, documentation and evaluation of orientation and talent development.
Coordinates activities of non-clinical staff at DHS. Participates in the development of non-clinical policies,
procedures and competencies. Participates in performance improvement activities; serves on special
committees.

- Develops, directs and determines the effectiveness of DHS General Orientation, which
when needed, and overall coordination of orientation events.
- Works with Human Resources regarding DHS General Orientation training for new hires.
- Develops, directs and determines the effectives of DHS employee development programs.
- Assists DHS departments with developing training programs based on the needs of the

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or one to two years of related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
