Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers or goods to various destinations while ensuring a high level of customer service. Responsibilities
- Operate vehicles to transport passengers or goods safely and efficiently.
- Maintain the vehicle in good working condition by performing regular inspections and necessary maintenance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Communicate effectively with passengers regarding routes, schedules, and any changes in transportation plans.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle as needed.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods or passengers to their designated locations.
- Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, including paratransit, shuttle driving.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
- Ability to maintain a clean driving record and comply with all transportation regulations.
- Familiarity with navigation systems and local traffic patterns.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely arrivals at destinations.
- Ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and professionally while on the road.
