Job Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS: Able to operate a variety of machine tools (i.e. Tig/Mig/Arc Welders, lathes, milling machines, etc.) Troubleshoot for problems during production. Verify conformance of machines or repaired dies to specifications by checking dimensions, clearances, and alignments. Follow safe work practices and company work procedures at all times. Maintain tooling Quality STD's and Preventative/Predictive Maintenance program to ensure compliance with QS9000 requirements Perform other duties as requires Able to work overtime as required. POSITION REQUIREMENTS PHYSICAL DEMANDS Manufacturing Environment: 80% Standing and walking 20% Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, or balancing. Must be able to lift 100 lbs. EDUCATION: Associates Degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school Tool and Die Maker with related experience/familiar with assembly tooling work. Completion of a 4 year Tool & Die apprenticeship program highly preferred. WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING: 3-5 years related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience Good hand dexterity, mechanical skills, mathematical skills and organizational skills. Hemming die or clinch tool is preferred but not required Metrology experience is preferred but not required WHY WORK HERE?
