Job Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS: 1. Inventory Management Identify issues with inventory and communicate with responsible parties. Monitor accurate inventory levels and report out to leadership team. Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records. Daily read across with operations regarding inventory issues 2. Data Entry and Reporting Record inventory transactions in the system (e.g., receiving, transfers, adjustments). Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and issues. Ensure accurate data entry and reporting within the inventory system. Prepare detailed inventory reports for senior management, highlighting areas for improvement. 3. Stock Reconciliation Reconcile inventory levels between different locations or departments. Coordinate with finance and warehouse teams to ensure accurate reporting. 4. Quality Assurance Inspect incoming and outgoing products for quality and accuracy. Ensure proper labeling and storage of inventory. 5. Process Improvement Identify inefficiencies in inventory management and propose solutions. Implement best practices to streamline workflows and reduce errors. 6. Communication and Collaboration Work closely with production staff, procurement, and production teams. Communicate inventory-related issues to relevant departments. Recommend and implement corrective actions for inventory discrepancies. Work closely with management team regarding audit results and accuracy. 7. Compliance Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures for inventory handling. Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. POSITION REQUIREMENTS PHYSICAL DEMANDS 80% Standing and walking, 20% Sitting Physically fit and able to lift 25 - 35 pounds Must stand 8 hours a day EDUCATION: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING: Six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Forklift License. (preferred) Valid driver’s license.
