Objective
The Regional Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple General Managers and ensuring the smooth operation of their respective repair shop locations (6 - 10 locations). This leadership role focuses on driving business growth, maintaining high operational standards, ensuring compliance, developing teams, and achieving company objectives through exceptional service and strategic expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee and support General Managers in optimizing repair shop performance.
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics, including customer retention, sales, telephone conversions, and safety.
- Conduct regular store visits and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Implement and uphold standardized processes across all locations to ensure operational consistency and efficiency.
- Address and resolve customer escalations promptly and effectively.
Financial Management
Develop and manage the P&L for assigned locations, ensuring profitability and cost control.Review and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and payroll projections.Approve and oversee payroll, labor scheduling, and credit card reconciliations.Forecast labor demand and ensure optimal staffing levels.Team Development & Leadership
Recruit, hire, train, and mentor General Managers and store personnel.Identify training opportunities and implement development programs to enhance team performance.Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.Recognize and reward team achievements while fostering a culture of engagement and accountability.Support HR functions, including employee relations, compliance, and disciplinary actions when necessary.Safety & Compliance
Ensure all locations adhere to company safety policies and regulatory compliance standards.Monitor and enforce OSHA training completion for all personnel.Conduct and review audits on repair orders and safety procedures.Ensure staff are informed about company promotions and contests.Strategic Growth & Business Expansion
Develop and execute business plans aligned with company objectives.Implement strategies to turn around underperforming locations.Drive customer acquisition and retention through excellent service and operational excellence.Collaborate with corporate departments (HR, Finance, Marketing, IT) to optimize business performance.Qualifications & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).Minimum 5 years of experience managing multi-unit retail or service operations.At least 3 years of P&L oversight experience for a store, district, or region.Automotive industry experience is preferred but not required.Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to develop and motivate teams.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-related software.Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region.Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Frequent travel to assigned repair shop locations.Ability to work in a noisy environment with exposure to odors.Occasional overnight travel as needed.Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when applicable.Ability to work extended hours, including weekends, based on business needs.Reporting & Relationships
Reports to Chief Operating Officer and collaborates with the support center.Engages daily with General Managers, shop personnel, customers, and vendors.NOTE :
