Role: HR Specialist
Job Summary:
The Human Resources Specialist provides administrative support to all HR functions. These responsibilities include being the first point of contact for employee questions, maintain employee programs (shoes, uniforms, glasses, lockers, etc.), and assist the HR department with projects.
The Human Resources Specialist – Front Office is responsible to ensure that the Customer, People, and Investor goals are balanced and met.
Compensation: USD $40,000 - $60,000

Daily Responsibilities:
- Provide support to employees by being the first point of contact for employee questions from either walk-in traffic or phone calls to HR.
- Prepare PowerPoint slides, awards, gift cards, etc., for Employee Meetings.
- Administration of employee programs: shoes, uniforms, glasses, lockers, etc.
- SAP Administration for the department including setting up vendors, entering invoices, and closing out items as received.
- Administration of the Perfect Attendance program.
- Maintain the HR forms rack and HR required postings / updating employee TV communications slides.
- Maintain the HR Organizational Charts.
- Maintain HR supplies, mail process, and UPS/FedEx packages.
- Support the HR Manager and Assistant HR Manager with administrative needs.
- Assist with Human Resources activities including, but not limited to:
- Answers employee questions about human resources policies and procedures, and refers to HR Generalist as needed.
- Coordinates new hire orientation, HR events, benefits open enrollment, and company-wide meetings.
- Participates in scheduling and coordination of interviews.
- Process, verify, and maintain employee related documentation.
- Maintain tracking sheets and assist with reports.
- Maintain employee files.
- Planning or assisting with employee events.
- Perform other duties as required.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field with one year of related experience; or Associate’s Degree (A.A.) with 3 years of related experience.
- Must have demonstrated intermediate skills in Microsoft Office / Excel / Power Point.
- Must have demonstrated excellent customer service and communication skills.
