Compensation
- Competitive hourly wages with a minimum of 40 hours a week
- Paid overtime at time and a half
- Breakdown pay : Your hourly rate if on the road and towed
- Bonuses :
Sign-on Bonus : $1,000 (paid out - half at 60 days and half at 180 days)

Driver must always put safety first and always wear appropriate PPEPre-inspect truck, load with materials and verify load for accuracySet up job perimeters, inspect site to ensure a safe environment to unloadCommunicate regularly with dispatcher to ensure timely product delivery at job siteCommunicate potential on-site hazards to branch managementKeep logbook up-to-date at all timesAdhere to and understand safety policies and regulationsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications
Must be at least 21 years of ageMust have CDL A license in good standing.Minimum of 1 year of prior and verifiable experience driving a commercial motor vehicleAdditional highly preferred experience :
Handling building materials
Forklift experienceHazmat Endorsement a plus but not requiredCrane Certification is required for Boom (NCCCO)Ability to lift 75 lbs. as necessaryNo convictions or any offenses involving DUI, DWI, careless or reckless driving, or suspensions / revocations within the past 5 years.No more than 1 moving violations within the past 36 monthsNo more than 1 preventable accidents in the last 36 monthsMust meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulationsMust be able to pass a required DOT physical and drug screenMust be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditionsShould prefer working in a team environment but be comfortable working on independent tasksHiring Radius : Drivers must live within 20 miles of Greenville, SC or be willing to relocate for this positionBeacon Building Products is an equal opportunity employer.
