CDL A Local Dry Van Driver -Nashville TN

CEVA Logistics is hiring a CDL-A Driver at our location in Nashville TN. This is a day shift position, 10am to 6pm Monday through Friday with weekends off. The driver will operate a day cab tractor and haul 53’ trailers to and from specified destinations in around the Nashville and Parts of Kentucky. May have to offload freight at certain customers but mostly no touch.

Compensation

• Weekly Pay: $26.49 per hour (40-50 hours/week. Overtime paid @ time and half)

Home Time, Route & Schedule

• Home Daily
• Shift: 10am-6pm
• Schedule: Monday-Friday

Equipment

• Pulling 53ft Vans
• Newer fleet with state-of-the-art equipment, full maintenance support, safety features and electronic logs
• Automatic Transmission
• Speed governed at 65 mph.
• Inward and outward facing event triggered cameras.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have valid CDL A License
• Minimum 6 months of verifiable CDL A driving experience
• Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
• No more than 3 moving violations/traffic citations in the past 3 years
• No DUIs/DWIs in the past 5 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 40 miles of Nashville, TN.
