Job Title: CDL A or B Ready Mix Driver
GCC is hiring experienced CDL A or B drivers to transport ready-mix concrete and other construction materials.
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $24.30 per hour for 10 hours a day, 4-6 days a week
- Bonuses: Sign on bonus of $1,500 and driver referral bonus of $1,000
- Paid via direct deposit bi-weekly

Work Schedule:
- Home Daily
- Route: No more than 100 miles from home plant
- Schedule: 10 hours/day, 4-6 days/week
- Shift: Variable start times, with daily callouts required
Equipment:
- Rear-discharge mixers
- Late-model equipment
- Mostly automatic, with manual options available
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL A or B License
- At least 21 years old
- No experience necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No DUI/DWI in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass Federal Department of Transportation drug screen and physical
- Maintain a clean driving record, meeting federal and state motor carrier regulations and company policies
- Ability to handle cash and make change
- Effective communication and diplomacy skills, with ability to work with customers and employees in stressful situations
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Maintain good health and pass Department of Transportation Health exams
- Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures (C or H)
- Residency within 50 miles of Le Mars, IA
