Universal Environmental Services is hiring CDL A or B Local Tanker Drivers in Memphis, TN. Waste oil recovery drivers will be loading, transporting, and unloading used oil and other liquids. - Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Shift: Day shift, Start times normally before 7am
- Route: 250 mile radius of Memphis, TN
- Level of Touch: Loads, transports, and unloads used oil and other liquid waste streams
- Class B tanker trucks
- Automatic & manual transmission
- Manual transmission experience preferred
- Outward facing cameras
- ELD equipped using Samsara system
- Wears company supplied uniforms and required safety equipment
- Complete all paperwork according to company policies
- Establish and maintain effective work relationships with employees and customers
- Must be familiar with all company policies and procedures regarding safety and operations
- Must have a working knowledge of all applicable rules, regulations, and laws pertaining to the collection/transportation of used oil
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have CDL A or B license
- Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record
- Must have a tanker endorsement or be willing to obtain prior to starting
- Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Manual transmission experience preferred
- Physical activity includes bending, reaching, stretching, climbing in/out of tractors, and on top of tanks, pulling hoses weighing up to 75 lbs and moving drums weighing up to 400 lbs with proper equipment
- Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
- Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
- Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 50 miles of Memphis, TN or be willing to relocate for this position
