Ryder is hiring a CDL A Regional Dry Van Driver in Smyrna, TN. Compensation

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,260
• Hourly pay: $28.00 with 40 hours per week
• Additional pay:
• Per Diem Pay: $50.00 per night out
• 3-4 nights out per week, overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel
• Bonuses
• $3,000 sign on bonus: Pays you $1,500 at 30 days and $1,500 at 90 days
• Unlimited driver referral bonuses
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route & Schedule

• Home Time: Home multiple days weekly, out every other night
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, some weekends
• Start time: 10pm-5am
• Route: South region
• Touch – Retail goods, unload only
• Equipment: hand cart
  

Equipment

• Trucks are 36 months or newer
• Trailer Type: Dry Van 53'
• Day cab
• 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide
  
  

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL A License
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
• Must live within 30 miles of Smyrna, TN
