Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lot Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dealership’s parking and vehicle management processes. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Lot Attendant, you will be responsible for managing vehicle inventory, assisting customers, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lot.
Duties
- Manage the parking lot by directing vehicles and ensuring efficient use of space.
- Assist customers with vehicle retrieval and provide exceptional service.
- Perform valet parking duties as needed, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles for cleanliness and damage.
- Maintain an organized lot by ensuring vehicles are parked in designated areas.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding vehicle status.
- Handle cash transactions accurately when required, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Support delivery drivers by coordinating vehicle drop-offs and pick-ups as necessary.
- Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by management.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
- Experience in valet parking or similar roles is preferred but not required.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of retail math for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Previous experience in a dealership environment is beneficial but not mandatory.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
