We are looking for a Digital Strategist to research and identify ways to build clients’ targeted audiences and paid media placements across multiple platforms. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: tracking advertising costs, researching consumer behavior, creating targeted audiences, and exploring market trends and opportunities.
In order to excel in this role, applicants should have PPC / paid social campaign experience and must be comfortable with processing and analyzing marketing data. The Digital Strategist will ensure successful digital campaigns through efficient use of client marketing budgets and appropriate audiences.
Responsibilities
Review contract deliverables and ensure all client requirements are documented.
Create, record, and refine processes for downloading, cleaning, and uploading historical client data to establish benchmarks.
Develop benchmark reports based on Year-Over-Year (YoY), Month-Over-Month (MoM) revenue trends, top-selling products, and other key metrics.
Prepare for and lead client meetings by presenting accurate and effective performance results—including KPIs, ROI, ROAS, audience insights, and the impact of ancillary services—to strengthen client relationships.
Monitor campaign pacing and escalate underperforming accounts to Account Executives (AE) and Account Managers (AM) for resolution.
Lead deep-dive analyses to uncover insights into key performance issues, such as quarter-over-quarter creative effectiveness, frequency impacts for e-commerce clients, and other ad-hoc investigations.
Conduct thorough reviews of client Point of Sale (POS)/Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data and assess business health.
Provide strategic recommendations on ad spend adjustments, ancillary service adoption, and campaign optimizations.
Set up and manage Marketing Milk accounts for clients.
Conduct client satisfaction checks and proactively address any concerns.
Develop and share post-meeting action plans for continuous improvement.
Conduct weekly performance roll-throughs, analyzing ROI pacing, strategic test results, and bridge/.5 check-ins for account adjustment meetings.
Assist in the onboarding of new clients if necessary.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
3 years of experience in digital marketing strategy, campaign analysis, or media planning.
Proficiency in data analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, etc.) and CRM/POS tools.
Strong understanding of ROI, ROAS, KPI measurement, and digital ad performance metrics.
Experience with budget management and forecasting.
Excellent presentation and client communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple clients simultaneously.Maintains accuracy and attention to detail while managing time-sensitive client requests.
An autonomous, passionate worker who claims ownership of their day-to-day work and the outcome of their efforts.
Skills
Real-world experience as a Digital Analyst or in a similar role.
Expertise in Google Analytics.
In-depth understanding of SEM campaign strategies and SEO practices.
Experience with PPC campaigns.
Knowledge of MS Excel.
Analytical abilities.
BSC in Marketing or a relevant field.
