We are seeking a full-time Sales Account Executive in Wichita, KS. The salary for this position is $68-$95K per year.
Sales Account Executive Job Responsibilities :
As a Carrier Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in managing the needs of clients
You will build and maintain relationships with carriers, negotiate rates, and ensure the timely and reliable delivery of goods
Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and trucking companies
Source and qualify new carriers to expand the network
Negotiate competitive rates with carriers while ensuring profitability
Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
Collaborate with internal teams to address challenges
Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to performance and customer satisfaction
5 day work day, 7 : 30am-6pm, mostly out in the field, no office
Preferred Qualifications :
Previous experience in transportation, carrier sales, or a related field
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry trends
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Proficient in using transportation management systems and other relevant software
Sales experience in the trucking industry
