Responsibilities Include:
- Working with sales consultants and customers to assist in the sales process
- Training and encouraging sales consultant team
- Assisting in the management of the sales department

Job Summary
The Finance & Insurance Manager plays a pivotal role in the dealership by overseeing the financial services department, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of financing options for customers, including loan processing and contract negotiations, while also contributing to the overall sales strategy of the dealership.
Duties
- Facilitate the sale of financial products to customers, including vehicle loans and insurance options.
- Negotiate financing terms with lenders to secure the best possible rates for customers.
- Process loan applications and ensure all necessary documentation is collected and submitted accurately.
- Review contracts for compliance with TILA (Truth in Lending Act) regulations and dealership policies.
- Collaborate with sales staff to develop strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales volume.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial services trends, regulations, and best practices within the automotive industry.
- Provide training and support to dealership staff on financial products and processes.
- Utilize strong math skills to analyze financial data and assist customers in understanding their financing options.
Skills
- Proven experience in sales, particularly within a dealership environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for both the customer and the dealership.
- Familiarity with financial services, including loan processing and underwriting procedures.
- Previous experience as a loan officer is advantageous.
- Proficient in 10 key typing for efficient data entry and documentation handling.
- Excellent mathematical skills to perform calculations related to financing options accurately.
- Knowledge of contracts and legal requirements associated with vehicle financing.
