About the Role:
The Sr. IT Administrator will be responsible for managing the IT infrastructure of our US organization including system management, user support, security management and policy development. We are looking for someone who has good knowledge of modern, cloud-based infrastructure services, and can support our growing organization to implement and manage a user-friendly and secure environment.
\n- Help strengthen IT infrastructure cloud services following zero trust security principles.
- Support efforts to transform the IT infrastructure into a more user-friendly and secure environment.
- Provide technical support to internal users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assisting with IT-related problems and inquiries.
- Onboard newly joined employees on the organization's IT systems and policies.
- Manage the US IT support team
- Implement and manage security measures to protect the organization's data, networks, vehicles, and systems from unauthorized access, cyber threats, viruses, and other security breaches.
- Install, update, and manage software applications across the organization's systems to ensure they are properly licensed and up-to-date with security patches.
- Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, network configurations, software licenses, and support procedures to facilitate troubleshooting, maintenance, and future upgrades.
- Interact with IT vendors and service providers to procure hardware, software, and services, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
- 5 years experience in IT administration.
- 2 years experience managing IT support employees (contractors ok).
- Experience managing an MDM environment.
- Google Workspace Teams administrative experience.
- Experience managing macOS and Windows devices remotely.
- Scripting experience for administrative task automation.
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to work with low supervision.
- Experience introducing cloud-based IT infrastructure services.
- Experience with Cloud based directory platforms for identity management.
- Good understanding and experience with GCP or AWS.
