DRIVEN GROW is a leader and innovator in Michigan’s legal cannabis market. We continue to achieve high growth and high demand for our products. To continue to excel and further improve our team, we are currently seeking to fill the position of Shipping & Receiving Clerk.

The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for incoming and outgoing packages and products within Driven Grow. This position involves accurately receiving incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality, storing inventory, and preparing outgoing shipments by packing and labeling items, while maintaining detailed records of all transactions and coordinating with carriers to ensure timely delivery; often requiring physical labor like lifting and loading boxes, and utilizing warehouse management systems to track inventory. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, with some mandatory early mornings and/or nights, weekends, and holidays.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Fulfill outgoing orders, this includes physically pulling product, entering information into sales order software, organizing outbound product shipments, labeling individual items that have special circumstances such as vendor days and samples, and verifying outbound manifest information matches order pulled.
· Package marketing materials to be sent with orders as needed.
· Assist transport companies with verification of tag numbers, product descriptions, dates, weights, and destinations. Rectify any manifest discrepancies at pickup.
· Receive incoming marijuana products according to company SOP’s and state regulations, this includes verifying weights and package tag numbers on incoming manifests.
· Load and unload freight shipments.
· Receive incoming non product shipments, such as general supplies and non-cannabis inventory (packaging materials), in purchase order system.
· Distribute and stock incoming supply orders to various departments and buildings.
· Verify Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for new products being received and forward for safety compliance.
· Pull product and NCI for packaging department according to work order specifications.
· Prepare and package outgoing shipments, determine best method of shipping, create shipment labels and schedule pickup/drop off.
· Investigate inventory discrepancies and report to the Inventory Manager.
· Research and implement methods of improving efficiency within inventory storage.
· Keep a clean and organized workspace, storage area, and high traffic areas, while maintaining stock in inventory area.
· Ensure facility safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols are followed.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
· Basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
· Ability to safely use hand tools.
· Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and sit for long periods of time.
· Ability to work in hot, cold, and humid conditions.
· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
· Ability to multitask while following production schedules.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time.
· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
· Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Self-motivated and team oriented.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills preferred.
· Proficiency with or the ability to learn the organization’s management system.
· Ability to learn computer systems.
Job Type: Full-time
