We are seeking a skilled Marine Technician to join our team, responsible for the maintenance, repair, and assembly of marine vessels and equipment. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine engines, electrical systems, and other vessel components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to assemble and fabricate parts as needed.
- Conduct inspections to diagnose issues and determine necessary repairs or replacements.
- Solder connections and perform electrical work to ensure proper functionality of systems.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks related to the installation or removal of equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding service needs and recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Continue with online and in-person education for all brands that are necessary.
Skills
- Proficiency in using an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics.
- Experience as a service technician in marine or related fields is preferred.
- Strong skills in soldering and working with both hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to assemble, fabricate, and militarize components as required by specific projects.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.
