Job Summary:
The Dishwasher will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work under pressure are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
- Operate dishwashing equipment and manually wash items as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area, including washing and sanitizing countertops, floors, and walls.
- Sort and store clean dishes and kitchen equipment in designated storage areas.
- Monitor inventory of dishwashing supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
- Assist kitchen staff with food preparation and other tasks as needed.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste and recycling in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety procedures and sanitation regulations.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the dishwashing station at the beginning and end of shifts.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
