Job Description
As an Accounts Receivable , you will lead the accounts receivable team, ensuring timely and accurate collection of payments. You’ll guide your team to provide excellent customer service, handle customer inquiries and disputes, and implement strategies to streamline accounts receivable processes. Your role is pivotal in maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring financial stability, and improving cash flow within the company.
We are looking for an experienced professional to manage the department effectively, driving efficiency in collections, enhancing cash flow, and resolving any customer inquiries with professionalism and care. This role is vital in boosting customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention, while also helping the company meet its financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Input and manage financial transactions accurately
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Understand and apply government accounting regulations
- Ensure accuracy using double-entry bookkeeping methods
- Address technical accounting issues when needed
- Analyze financial data and generate reports for management
- Utilize advanced skills in Excel for creating and managing complex sheets or forms
- Collaborate with other departments to address billing and payment challenges
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.), with high-level expertise in Excel, including creating advanced sheets and forms
- Experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proven track record in accounting or a related field
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills
- Ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
