Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitorial Associate to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall sanitation of our warehouse facilities. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and clean environment for all team members by performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in janitorial work, particularly in warehouse environments, and a strong commitment to upholding cleanliness and safety standards. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and will collaborate with other team members to support the overall efficiency of the warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Cleaning: Perform regular cleaning and sanitization of the warehouse, including restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other common areas.
• Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the warehouse to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Trash & Recycling Management: Empty and dispose of trash and recycling materials from designated bins and ensure proper waste segregation.
• Sanitization: Use cleaning chemicals and equipment to sanitize frequently touched surfaces, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Restroom Upkeep: Clean and restock restrooms with necessary supplies, including paper products and soap.
• Equipment Handling: Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and other tools as required.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper handling of cleaning chemicals and adherence to PPE requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: Proven experience in janitorial work, preferably in a warehouse or industrial environment.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with cleaning practices, tools, and equipment, including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with other departments as needed.
• Time Management: Capable of prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to complete duties efficiently.
