In this role, you will play a crucial part in the supply chain process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipping in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities:

• Order Picking:

  • Accurately pick items from shelves or storage areas according to customer order specifications, using handheld devices or paper pick lists.
  • Verify product numbers, quantities, and quality to ensure accurate order fulfillment.

• Packing:

  • Prepare picked items for shipment by securely packing them into appropriate containers or boxes.
  • Ensure that all items are properly protected to prevent damage during transit.
  • Label packages with accurate shipping information.

• Quality Control:

  • Double-check orders to ensure all items are correctly picked, packed, and match customer requirements.
  • Inspect items for any defects or damages and report discrepancies to the supervisor.

• Inventory Management:

  • Assist with restocking shelves, organizing inventory, and maintaining proper stock levels.
  • Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle checks.

• Team Collaboration:

  • Work cooperatively with other warehouse staff to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding workflow, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, picking/packing, or logistics environment is a plus but not required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) for extended periods.
• Basic math and reading skills to follow written instructions and process orders accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, or holidays if necessary.

• Warehouse environment with varying temperatures depending on the season.
• Frequent lifting, bending, standing, and moving.
