Hiring Immediately, Automotive Body Shop Technician
Driver’s Village, a World Class Transportation Provider, continues to grow and we are seeking Experienced Automotive Body Shop Technicians to join our successful team. As an Automotive Body Shop Technicians at Driver’s Village, you won’t simply repair vehicles, you will ensure the safety and satisfaction of our valued customers. You will enjoy a career working on our world-class team, repairing and maintaining vehicles, building customer loyalty while working in our state-of-the-art facilities.
Driver’s Village represents over 17 automotive franchises, serving hundreds of customers each month. We’ve been making customers happy for nearly 85 years, by providing safe and reliable transportation.
Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not limited to :
- Assessing the damage of customers vehicles, reviewing damage reports and cleaning damaged areas
- Preparing cost estimates and planning work
- Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
- Removing bumpers, fenders, hoods, grilles and trim
- Hammering out or patching dents, dimples, and other minor body damage
- Removing damaged sections of vehicles and replacing with new or aftermarket parts
- Replacing or repairing interior parts as needed
- Welding and otherwise attaching or fitting parts into place
- Sanding, buffing, priming and applying new finish to restored body parts
- Removing damaged parts and repairing structural damage
- Road-test vehicles to ensure the repair has addressed the customer complaint
- Ensuring all work is done in accordance with safety regulations
- Participate in and complete training as assigned by the manufacturer and management
