Job Purpose
The Associate Manager oversees the operation of the Boulder and Longmont DriveSafe locations. Responsibilities include supervising a team of staff and managing the sales and delivery of services. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated customer service and sales skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and experience with leading a team to achieve high standards and goals.
Duties and Responsibilities

Meet monthly sales goals, both personal and center goals

Plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the Center

Analyze and document business processes and problems. Develop solutions to enhance efficiencies

Coordinate and implement solutions from process analysis and general Center projects

Direct staff in the development, analysis, and preparation of periodic reports

Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures
-
Coordinate employee training and provide employee orientation
-
Coach and provide career development to staff
-
Establish employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews with the guidance of the HR department
-
Responsible to meet Center productivity and quality goals
-
Grow your market through active sales and brand building activities
-
Foster relationships and leveraging knowledge to increase sales

Encourage a team environment by working closely with instructors
-
Other duties and responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
-
Over 21 years of age
-
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
-
2 years of experience in people management including talent management, scheduling, payroll, and employee relations.

2 years of experience in department/location management, ideally as the primary supervisor overseeing a brick and mortar business unit.

1 years of experience with Colorado drivers’ education preferred
-
Business acumen including knowledge or experience with KPIs and basic financial reporting

Customer service orientation with both internal and external stakeholders
-
Orientation to innovative problem-solving

Comfortable with direct sales of services when necessary
-
Responsible, dependable, and detail oriented
-
Self-disciplined and able to multi-task/prioritize
-
Comfortable with digital technologies
-
Safe driving history - a Motor Vehicle Record check will be reviewed

Valid Colorado Driver’s License

Job Details
This is an hourly, full-time position with working hours of approximately 9:00am-5:30pm five days per week, typically including one or more weekend shift per week. This position is based out of our Boulder (4800 Baseline Rd Unit C-104 Boulder CO 80303) and Longmont (700 Ken Pratt Boulevard, Suite 119, Longmont, CO 80501) DriveSafe locations. This Baron Education is a growing company, and the Associate Manager role has room for growth and advancement. The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
