Job Purpose
The Talent Acquisition Intern supports the Human Resources department with talent acquisition tasks to support the company's increased staffing demands between approximately March and June, while providing the intern with the opportunity to build valuable hands-on experience in a high volume talent acquisition environment.

Screen applications based on qualifications and work history

Conduct first-round virtual interviews with candidates to assess job-fit and communicate information about job opportunities

Process recruiting-related transactions in the Applicant Tracking System

Respond to recruiting-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance or escalate as necessary

Participate in weekly check-in meetings to identify and execute on recruiting goals

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Communications, Marketing or related field

Excellent written or verbal communications skills

Highly computer literate with capability in email, Microsoft Office or similar tools
Job Details
- Part-time: Approximately 16 hours per week.
- Flexible schedule: Days and times of shifts can be negotiated and will work around school schedules
- Hybrid/work from home: The ideal candidate, once proficient in the role after an initial training period of 2 weeks, may be eligible to work primarily off-site.
- Temporary: The end date of the internship/employment will be determined upon hire, with the span of the work between approximately March and June.
Benefits
- Pay rate: $18.00 per hour
- Healthy Workplace Time: 1 hour of paid sick time for each 30 hours worked accrued each pay period up to 12 days per year.
