Job Summary
As a Financial Services Consultant at DriveTime, you'll play a critical role in helping customers achieve their financial goals by providing expert advice and guidance on managing debt and improving credit scores. You'll work closely with customers to understand their financial situations and develop personalized solutions to help them overcome financial challenges.
Responsibilities
Collect past due payments and negotiate payment plans with customers, educate and negotiate with customers to influence them to make needed payments, utilize company resources to assist those who are unable to make timely payments, monitor and ensure regular follow-up on all loan repayment agreements and analyze customer accounts to oversee overdue accounts using automated systems and computers. Additionally, you'll utilize computer systems to handle skip tracing and maintain positive working relationships with the Loan Servicing team.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2 years of experience in collections, customer service, sales, or retail industry. Background in Metrics and Analytics is desirable. You must be able to pass a drug test and background check, work a flexible schedule including evenings and Saturdays, and be located on-site in our exciting contact center in Mesa, Arizona. You'll also need to meet monthly Collection, Call Time, and Quality Assurance Goals.
