The Sealcoating crew member is an essential part of the Driveway Envy team. This position will operate alongside other crew members (or will manage crew members if applying for the Crew lead position) and under the direct daily supervision of a Crew Lead.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure all workspaces remain clean and free of hazards and debris at all times
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
• Perform daily tasks assigned by crew lead (or assign responsibilities if applying for the Crew Lead position)
• Unload and load materials and equipment prior to beginning each project and upon exiting the jobsite
• Report all injuries, accidents, and safety concerns to Crew lead (or Director of Sealcoating Opps if applying for Crew Lead position)
• Operate equipment properly and according to safety standards to perform required tasks including but not limited to hand squeegees, spray wands, sweepers, blowers, line stripers, crack filling equipment, push cart applicators, etc.
• Perform sealcoating, asphalt preparation, and asphalt repair labor according to company and customer standards for quality and safety
• Properly power off all equipment and ensure all tools are collected and securely fastened in company vehicles upon project completion
• Report all absences to Crew lead or Director of Sealcoating Opps at least 24 hours prior to missing work

Position Requirements

• Must have daily, reliable, and timely transportation to Shoreview, MN - as that is where our crews begin and end their days.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license (if driving) with the flexibility to travel to various job sites within Twin Cities Metro and surrounding areas if necessary
• Must possess a driving record that meets company standards (if driving)
• Must meet company employment requirements including but not limited to background checks
• Must agree to adhere to a Drug-Free Workplace
• Must maintain a good attendance and safety record
• Must have the ability to carry and lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to stoop, bend, reach with hands and arms, crouch and kneel as required
• Must be able to operate equipment safely
• 1-2 years of seal coating experience preferred (but not required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3,500.00 - $6,000.00 per month

Experience:

• sealcoating / asphalt work: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Salary : $3,500 - $6,000
