Job Overview:
We are seeking an Internet Sales Manager to help sell surplus, returned goods, obsolete, and overstock merchandise via the internet. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging product descriptions, posting products on various platforms, managing customer inquiries, and driving online sales. The ideal candidate will have excellent follow-up skills, strong sales acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will receive a competitive base salary plus commission, and you'll be measured on your ability to meet new business sales targets. Additionally, you will assist in developing and implementing an internet marketing strategy to grow our online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post available merchandise to various online platforms.
- Research internet sources for low-cost merchandise that can be bought and resold for profit.
- Take photos and write accurate, compelling descriptions of products for online listings.
- Manage bids and sales inquiries, providing excellent customer service.
- Package, address, label, and ship products to customers.
- Communicate complex, technical topics in a simple manner to non-technical customers.
- Provide timely reports on sales, inventory, and other necessary data.
- Analyze merchandise lots for accurate quoting.
- Exceed sales targets and collaborate with the team to implement strategies effectively.
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by management.
- Embrace and support DRM America’s culture and company goals.
Qualifications:
- Experience with buying and selling online (e.g., eBay Gold Seller status is a plus).
- High School diploma or GED (additional technical/electronics coursework preferred).
- 2 years of online merchandising, direct marketing, and web experience.
- General knowledge of electronics and technology is a plus.
- Proficiency with internet platforms (eBay, MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of software and internet browsing.
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience with Social Media and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
