Job Title: Housekeeper
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel. You will be expected to service guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures, stock carts with room supplies, replace bed linens, and replenish guest room supplies while following company standards and safety/security procedures. In some instances, this role would also be responsible for conducting ‘deep cleaning’ activities within the guest room in conjunction with preventative maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel
- Service guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures
- Stock carts with room supplies and replace bed linens
- Replenish guest room supplies while following company standards and safety/security procedures
- Conduct ‘deep cleaning’ activities within the guest room in conjunction with preventative maintenance tasks, as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects 50 Lbs.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
