Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, and excavators on construction sites.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to execute construction plans efficiently.
- Transport materials using dump trucks and water trucks as needed.
- Adhere to safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including dozers, loaders, backhoes, and excavators.
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety regulations.
- Experience operating concrete mixers and various trucks, such as dump and water trucks.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Sewer/water/storm pipe laying experience
- Sloping/benching excavation
- Read blueprints (preferred)
- Driver's license (preferred)
