.Net SQL Server Software Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC (Need Locals, F2F Client Interview)
Long Term
Rate: $60/hr C2C
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SQL Server development, deployment, and testing of changes, with added expertise in cloud technologies, specifically AWS. This role requires a hands-on approach to database development and a deep understanding of cloud environments:
Key Responsibilities:
Acquires requirements, designs and develops databases or systems that access or integrate with databases.
Analyzes database requirements of the users, applications and operations while providing feedback.
Configures and tests new business systems data stores. Provides recommendations including definition of physical structure, functional capabilities, security structure, and the backup and recovery processes.
Develops and optimizes stored procedures.
Documents system details and maintenance process and trains DBAs as needed.
Strong knowledge of the development and deployment of enterprise-wide databases and related systems required.
Strong skills in data modeling, physical database design and logic are also essential.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in SQL server development and management.
Experience with deployment and testing of database changes.
Practical knowledge of AWS cloud services and integration.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in SQL Server or AWS.
Experience with other cloud providers such as Azure or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
