Role Responsibilities :
Hands on Sr SQL Server Development (50%) with some Architect (25%) and Project Lead (25%) experience.
Required Qualifications :
- 6 years experience in database development, administration and support in MS SQL Server environments.
- 2 years experience architecting / designing solutions and the ability to convert that into technical specifications.
- 3 years experience in leading Onshore / Offshore teams and successful execution on Unisite Delivery.
- Capture business requirements and translate them to data requirements and recommended solution(s). Produce documentation for these requirements and solutions.
- SQL Development – ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (stored procs, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints).
- Create & maintain Integration services (BIDS) Packages, and write complex SQL statements for large scale databases.
- Code optimization and performance tuning.
- Design, develop, enhance and support database applications.
- Development of complex SQL Code (stored procedures, triggers, views and functions).
- Good experience in Database Administration in SQL Server (2005 and 2008).
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues, Query Performance Tuning & Optimization using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Ability to work on multiple projects to provide adequate and proactive support for various business initiatives and applications.
