the job

As a Business Developer, you'll be responsible for driving sales and fostering client relationships within the American market. Your main goal will be to develop and execute an outbound strategy to generate new opportunities in the 'one-shot show' market segment by :

  • Responding to client inquiries and providing detailed information about our drone show services.
  • Building and delivering compelling commercial proposals.
  • Identifying and pursuing tender opportunities.
  • Prospecting for new clients through trade shows, client demonstrations, and other initiatives.
  • Collaborating with the production team to assess project feasibility and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Negotiating and finalizing sales contracts.
  • Maintaining client relationships and ensuring ongoing satisfaction.
  • Reporting on sales activities and maintaining accurate records within our CRM system (HubSpot).
  • Conducting competitive analysis to stay informed about market trends.

You'll be part of the US-based team in Orlando, working closely with the CEO and collaborating with the sales team in France. While ideally based in Orlando, this role can be remote on the East Coast (ET Time Zone) but will require travel for team and client meetings.

We're seeking a proactive and entrepreneurial individual with a proven track record in sales and a strong ability to learn, adapt, and follow our sales process. A network within the live event industry is a plus. Key qualifications include :

  • Previous sales experience, preferably in the live event industry.
  • Able to work independently with strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Strong client-facing and negotiation skills
  • Project manager" mindset with the ability to handle complex technical projects
  • Proficiency with sales management tools (HubSpot)
  • Native-level English skills required, French is a plus
  • Ideally, you have an established network within the US event industry
