What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Member - Tree Service position at Drost Landscape?
We are looking for passionate, hardworking individuals to join our tree service team. Servicing all of Northern Michigan, our tree service crews get to visit a wide variety of beautiful locations and perform a wide scope of work, including tree removal, tree planting, trimming and pruning, and emergency services. With a strong and supportive team environment, our tree service is a great place for those who want to grow both personally and professionally.
Members of our tree service team are focused on safety as they complete tasks ranging from inspecting and maintaining equipment to clearing brush and operating equipment. All PPE is provided, and Drost utilizes the highest quality of specialized equipment to ensure our teams can do more and do it safely. Applicants should be ready for the physical demands of the job, including lifting over fifty pounds, working long hours in the spring, summer, and fall, and responding to emergency situations. On-the-job training is provided, along with incentives for certifications, climbing experience, and bucket operation.

- Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively
- Working in outdoor Northern Michigan conditions, including rain and snow
- Regular bending, twisting, reaching, lifting motions
