Auto Body Repair Technician (Non-Structural)

DRP is a locally family owned autobody shop that has served Powhatan and the surrounding counties for the last 15 years. We operate a state of the art collision center using the newest tools and equipment, which are essential for safe and sound vehicle repairs.

We train our staff in-house, using I-Car Gold Class standards, ASE certifications, and OEM specifications. The training includes but is not limited to Blueprinting / Meticulous disassembly, mechanical, glass installation, structural and non-structural repairs, refinish, as well as alignments and ADAS (advance driver assist systems).

We also have the capability to train our staff to do administrative roles such as parts managing, estimating, customer service, and office management. We have access to soft skills development courses to help with communication, understanding processes, problem solving, and a variety of others.

The entry level positions start as hourly but can transition to commission. Mechanical experience is preferred but not required.

This position will start as a vehicle detailer with responsibilities to clean up around the shop, as a shop helper.

A valid Driver's license is mandatory.

Computer Skills Highly Recommended - Our non-structural technicians are required to learn and perform diagnostic work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
