Job Summary
Join our team of high performers in Danbury, CT team as a
Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Designer.
We are looking for a talented professional to create complex electronic designs for the Navy and commercial use using CAD or manual systems.
What You Will Do
Design PCB products utilizing Cadence design software; equivalent tool experience will be considered with the expectation to be productive with the Allegro toolsetCreate electrical schematic diagram of PCB using Allegro Design Entry CIS (or CAD)Create PCB layouts using Allegro PCB Editor for analog, digital, power and hi-speed designsWork independently and in collaboration with Electrical, Mechanical and Design EngineeringPrepare fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, bills of material, specifications; and documentation per ASME standardsProcess Engineering Change OrdersProvide assistance to lesser experienced drafters by communicating work priorities, providing technical assistance, verifying accuracy of workEducation & Experience Requirements
Associate's degree or equivalent and 3 years of experience in mechanical designCadence Allegro PCB experienceKnowledge of commonly-used design concepts, practices, and procedures
IPC standards, ASME Y14.100, ASME 14.5M, MIL-STD-100
Candidates must be a US citizen and meet DRS security standards as imposed by DoD, including the issuance of any necessary security clearance by the US government within a reasonable time after commencement of employment
U.S. Citizenship required. This position may require an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
