Employment Opportunity - Nurse Practitioner
Drs. Woodall, Wilson & Manley, LLP are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our team.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic and chronic illnesses.
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients including commercial and Medicare annual wellness, DOT and well-child exams.
- Provide health coaching to patients, promoting wellness and preventive care strategies.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Skills:
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on patient education.
- Ability to collaborate with the team to provide quality patient care and achieve positive health outcomes.
- Diagnostic test interpretation.
- Strong attention to detail in maintaining accurate clinical records, documenting patient encounters and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Teamwork.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced patient centered environment. (20-30 patients per day on average)
- Ability to buld a rapport with patients, staff and management.
- Exhibit high levels of professionalism, integrity, accountability and compassion.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Flexibility with schedule.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Family Practice Certified Nurse Practitioner. (prefer 2 years)
- Current Georgia APRN license in good standing.
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration in good standing.
- Current ACLS or BLS certification.
Details:
- Rotating shift Monday -Friday (3-4 days per week)
- Closed Saturday and Sunday
- Closed Major Holidays
- Physician owned private practice
