What are the responsibilities and job description for the Agency Nurse position at Drug Abuse Treatment Association, Inc., (DATA)?
Monday through Friday 9-5
· 3 Days at our WPB Facility
· 2 Days at our Ft. Pierce Facility
· Mileage Reimbursement
To work in conjunction with the management team and staff of the residential treatment and outpatient programs to ensure the provision of all nursing and HIV intervention/outreach activities are provided.
Job Responsibilities and Standards for Measuring Performance:
1. Participate on committees and planning groups as required.
2. Attend all staff meetings as requested by Program Supervisor.
3. Promote confidentiality and sensitivity in interactions with clients.
4. Provide medication education to residential and outpatient clients (co-occurring disorders).
5. Provide resources and information regarding HIV, co-occurring disorders, and other health related topics.
6. Provide trauma-informed care.
7. Participate in the development and implementation of the program’s quarterly quality improvement plan.
8. Plan and conduct training programs (i.e., HIV, OSHA, STD’s, Hepatitis, First Aid/CPR, HIPAA/Confidentiality, Medication Errors, etc).
9. Ensure that HIV test samples are mailed in a timely and suitable fashion.
10. Conducts HIV risk assessments, pre-test and post-test counseling and arranges referrals for clients when deemed suitable. (Outpatient and residential clients should be seen within 2 weeks of admission).
11. Completes medical history on residential clients at time of admission.
12. Conducts weekly medication monitoring for residential clients.
13. Monitoring compliance with medical requirements for residential clients.e!

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
