Drug Emporium Pharmacy Technician

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Assist the Pharmacy Manager with prescription fills per received orders.

Communicate with customers in person and over the telephone in a positive and friendly manner.

Receive and process prescription orders via telephone and electronic equipment.

Operate pharmacy computer and cash register to accurately complete sales and returns as necessary.

Receive merchandise and process receiving documentation per company and regulatory guidelines.

Price and stock pharmacy merchandise as directed. Call appropriate departments for price checks of unmarked items.

Ensure work station and pharmacy has necessary supplies and is clean and orderly

Develop and maintain positive customer relationships while addressing customer service needs and questions.

Additional store specific duties as needed or required.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong time management skills and attention to detail

Proactive with the ability to multitask

Team focused and collaborative

Strong listening skills and customer service focused

Pharmacy Certified Technician License preferred. Minimum of one year customer service in a customer facing environment desired. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays. Ability to stand 100% 0f the time during an 8 hour shift.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
