What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cosmetics Sales Associate position at Drug Emporium?
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Receive inventory and prepare documentation per company guidelines and needs of the store Administrative Assistant.
- Ensure proper pricing and product placement on sales floor and back stock locations as warranted.
- Ensure shelves and merchandise are clean and displayed in an orderly manner for customers.
- Grow individual and fellow employee knowledge of current and emerging product offerings.
- Develop and maintain positive customer relationships while addressing customer service needs and questions.
- Complete sales transactions in a positive and friendly manner, including the bagging of products for the customer
- Assist customers in locating, researching and handling merchandise as needed
- Additional store specific duties as needed or required.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Proactive with the ability to multitask
- Strong listening skills and strong customer service focus is a must
