What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toddler Team Leader position at Druid Hills Child Development Center?
- The successful candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in ECE or a closely related field and have five years of experience working in early childhood education as a lead teacher in a high quality center. S/He will have a deep understanding of GELDS, Conscious Discipline and Creative Curriculum GOLD, ASQ's, NAEYC standards and developmentally appropriate practices, Additionally, the successful candidate will understand principles of adult learning and have strong interpersonal and coaching skills.
- Spent 80%of the day in and with the toddler classes
- Assist teachers with transition, following the schedule and model having powerful interactions with children
- Support lesson planning, assessment and individualization and small group.
- Ensure that the classrooms as safe, inviting and engaging for toddlers.
- Develop supportive relationships with the toddler team staff, children and parents
