What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Phlebotomist/Paramedical Examiner (Contract) position at Drumm Health Services?
Drumm Health Services dba Exam One is looking for Full-Time and Part-Time contractors in Gaffney, SC and surrounding areas to conduct life insurance medical screenings, mobile Phlebotomy services, and on-site corporate wellness screenings. Paramedical Examiners are responsible for collecting medical histories, venipuncture, manual blood pressure, vitals, and urine specimens. This is an independent contractor position and requires travel and flexibility, but you will have the ability to set your own schedule. Payment is based on per service completed.
Job Requirements:
- Flexible Travel (up to 25-mile radius) and flexible work hours.
- Must have reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
- Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and courtesy.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Every collector must be a skilled phlebotomist and must have a minimum of 200 successful practical blood draws.
- Must be skilled in taking manual blood pressures and pulses.
- Ability to work independently.
- Bi-lingual and EKG experience is a plus but not required.
Required Equipment:
- Manual Blood Pressure Cuff.
- Stethoscope.
- Scale.
- Travel bag.
- Computer/tablet, scanner, printer.
Pay is bi-weekly and based on per service completed ranging from $20 - $30. Pay offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
This is a remote position but have the option to utilize our facilities to conduct business.
