Job Summary:
As Marketing Manager, your focus will be growing our business through marketing, sales, and Facilitation. You will be responsible for creating, implementing, and managing all marketing, along with being part of our sales and facilitation teams. Your Key Responsibilities are:
- Lead the effort to work with the General manager to establish the Marketing Plan, Objectives, and tactics necessary to exceed the monthly and yearly goals set by ownership.
- Drive the plan execution efforts to meet or exceed the plan goals:
- Partner with our digital marketing agency, to exceed the goals by:
- Manage the website's SEO program, content, and Google-paid ads to achieve our lead goals, Traffic/Lead Ratio, and lead quality goal, Tour/Lead Ratio.
- Plan, organize, delegate, and drive implementation activities in all aspects of Drumore Estate's website improvement plan:
- Manage our Google advertising programs.
- Manage the budgets and creation of and approve all ad copies
- Including blogs, additional pages, and content updates.
- Write all copies with input from team members with extensive knowledge of a particular area.
- Delegate the finished product to implement on the website
- Manage social media activities.
- Plan, schedule, and post content across social media platforms using Loomly (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.)
- Engage with online communities, respond to inquiries, and track engagement metrics.
- Collaborate on photography and video content to showcase the venue's unique character and offerings
- Work with vendors to source images
- Manage all brochures and physical marketing materials.
- Continually collect and analyze venue and menu competitive information.
- Work with all departments to understand and develop all materials needed to market Drumore Estate.
- Work with the facilitators and help create a fantastic Drumore Estate-style event.
- Write all copies, share with the management team for input, and revise accordingly.
- Manage our third-party paid website vendors:
- We have or used The Knot, Wedding Wire, Zola, The Chicks, Rainbow, etc
- Research and use our data to select the vendors and budgets
- Create our pages and keep them updated
- Collaborate with sales
- Assisting with answering leads, completing tours and bookings,
- Drive improvements in our sales ratios
- Collaborate with our Facilitation Team
- Assisting with the setup
- Planning and Facilitation of some events
- Managing our Event staff on the day of the event for some events
- Chair a Bi-weekly marketing and sales meeting
- Partner with the sales department to keep the entire team and ownership in the loop on current marketing and sales situations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Required: Previous experience of 2 years in venue marketing, or related field
- Preferred: Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Suggested: previous experience in sales, event planning, and event facilitation or other related fields
- Extensive knowledge of sales skills, revenue management strategies, training, and motivation of Sales Team
- Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
- Ability to effectively listen, communicate, and perform professionally with internal and external customers and staff.
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Knowledge of computer accounting programs, math skills, and budgetary analysis capabilities is required.
- Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge with CRM programs (Salesforce experience a plus)
Working Conditions:
- Physical requirements include walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Help facilitate events to understand the product and how best to market it.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
