POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for greeting all valet parking guests, parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting guests with luggage, documenting parked vehicles per valet ticket, and adhering to safety procedures. This position requires upbeat positive customer service skills, the ability to accurately count and document information, the ability to communicate effectively, and work well within the parking division team. This position requires the ability to work independently as well as work with the valet team. Full-time and part-time positions are available. All three shifts, Monday through Sunday, are available. The valet parking service is available 24/7.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- The ability to safely park and retrieve guest vehicles.
- The ability to provide excellent customer service.
- The ability to fill out and complete necessary valet tickets, reports, and paperwork.
- The ability to work and communicate effectively with the parking team and management.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Ability to drive standard stick shift vehicles.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
The qualified applicants will have a minimum of a High School diploma or GED degree. The qualified applicants will have considerable experience in one or more of the following areas: valet parking service, experience in parking attendant or parking facility work, background/driver’s license check, and effective communication.
COMPENSATION:
The starting rate of pay is $15.00/hour to $16.00/hour based upon education, work related experience and interview process. Benefits are available to full-time team members.
