Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, taking orders and offering recommendations based on preferences.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, assisting with ordering as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Stay updated on current drink trends and menu offerings to enhance sales opportunities.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
- 3 Years experience is required in a high volume bartending position.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and ability to operate Toast POS systems.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is essential.
- Sales skills to promote drink specials and upsell menu items effectively.
- Experience in brewing or knowledge of fine dining standards is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
