Bartender

Overview:

As a Druthers Brewing Co. bartender, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience while serving beverages, including our signature craft beers, in a friendly and efficient manner. You will engage with customers, offer beer recommendations, make cocktails, and keep a clean and organized bar area. Your role is essential for promoting our brewery's culture, educating guests on our beer and food offerings, and ensuring each guests has a great time.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a positive attitude, provide excellent customer service, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take orders, serve drinks, and ensure all guests are satisfied with their food and beverage experience.
• Engage with guests and educate them about our beer, wine, cocktail, and food selections
• Work in a fast pace environment while still giving the best customer experience

Beer Knowledge

• Stay up to date on our current beer offerings as it changes weekly
• Help customers make beer choices based on preferences (e.g. taste profile, ABV, and beer style)

Bar Management

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and accurately operate the POS system
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including sanitizing glasses, countertops, and equipment
• Ensure kegs are tapped and stock levels are maintained throughout the day

Safety and Compliance

• Check all ID's to verify legal drinking age and ensure responsible responsible service of alcohol
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and step in if necessary to ensure responsible drinking practices

Teamwork

• Work closely with other bartenders, servers, kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient service
• Assist with cleaning and restocking as needed during opening, closing, or throughout the day

Qualifications

• Must have bartending experience
• Strong knowledge of beer styles and the ability to recommend beer to guests
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Ability to handle cash and operate a POS system
• Must have weekend availability

Work Schedule

• This position may require working day/evening shifts, weekends, and holidays (Closed Christmas and Thanksgiving)

Pay

• Base hourly wage $10.35/hr plus tips

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.35 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
