Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Aloha POS system or cash register.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and food preparation methods.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines and standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Utilize time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
