Role Description
The Web Developer is responsible for owning and enhancing drvn’s marketing-focused website experience. While primarily supporting the Marketing and Sales teams, this role collaborates cross-functionally to ensure a high-quality, consistent brand presence. The developer will create and maintain Webflow pages, implement custom code beyond native platform capabilities, and integrate with various systems to drive user engagement and capture leads. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and occasionally supports the core Development team when website needs are met. The Web Developer will also be responsible for creating internal marketing tools designed to replace existing tools and decrease cost on 3rd party marketing software.
Key Responsibilities
Website Development & Maintenance
- Build, update, and optimize Webflow pages to reflect drvn’s brand and marketing goals
- Implement responsive design best practices to ensure a seamless user experience across devices
Custom Code & Integrations
- Develop custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript solutions for functionalities not supported by Webflow
- Integrate with internal systems (CRM, booking engine) using APIs, automation tools (e.g., Make.com), and other third-party services
- Have experience developing with React.js, as this is what Webflow is built on.
Tracking & Analytics
- Configure Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and other tracking tags to measure performance and conversions
- Implement and document event tracking to support data-driven marketing strategies
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work with Sales and Marketing to translate campaign requirements into high-performing web experiences
- Write clean, well-documented code and provide user-friendly guidance for future site updates or handoffs
Internal Tool Creation
- Using tools like Webflow, Make, Memberstack, Vercel, and Google Cloud, create internal marketing software tools designed to support the marketing and sales teams, and reduce cost on 3rd party software.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Quickly diagnose and resolve front-end bugs, site performance issues, and integration errors
- Assist the Development team on front-end tasks during non-peak marketing cycles
Qualifications
- Webflow Expertise: Proven track record of building, launching, and optimizing Webflow sites
- Front-End Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (including responsive design principles)
- React.js: Proven experience developing websites and web apps using React
- API & Automation: Familiarity with Make.com (or similar tools) and API-based integrations
- Analytics & Tracking: Able to implement Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics; knowledge of event tracking and best practices
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Comfortable tackling site performance issues, troubleshooting code conflicts, and adapting to new technologies
- Collaboration & Communication: Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and translate non-technical requests into practical front-end solutions
- Documentation: Skilled at writing clear, concise code comments and user-facing instructions
