Position Overview: The Internet Sales Representative is responsible for selling and renting storage container products, ground level offices, and related products and services over the internet and via company phone systems. They develop and build profitable short term and long-term customer relationships while providing excellent customer service, account management, and closure rate.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Rent and sell storage container products, ground-level offices, and related products and services through a variety of internet sales mediums, incl. Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, OfferUp, etc.
- Maintain a methodology of proactivity and immediate follow-up, ensuring your ads are posted, worked, and converted with a focus on timeliness and closure rate.
- Solicit sale and rental opportunities through cold calling and outbound sales efforts.
- Address and resolve customer issues professionally, ensuring satisfaction and adherence to company policies.
- Practice and train effective sales techniques to drive conversions and customer satisfaction, and to stay updated on industry best practices.
- Maintain reliability and punctuality in work hours.
- Send out periodic email blasts and promotions.
- Regularly analyze the effectiveness of ads and online platforms, adjusting strategies to maximize conversion rates and optimize lead generation.
- Conduct periodic reviews of competitors' online sales and marketing strategies to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with the marketing, dispatch, and operations teams to ensure seamless customer experiences from inquiry to delivery or pickup.
- Manage delivery and pick-up schedules for sold and rented containers.
- Coordinate pickups, lease transfers, and repossessions as needed.
- Ensure all containers meet customer expectations and quality standards.
- Leverage CRM data and analytics to generate actionable insights, forecast sales, and improve performance metrics.
- Utilize Salesforce, entering customer information accurately into the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.

Qualifications & Skills:
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience
- Strong Technology skills.
- Marketing skills, including ability to post Dry Box product and service social media ads using a personal account.
- Ability to quickly develop a deep understanding of the business to enable effective operational decision-making.
- Strong selling and value selling skills.
- Ability to work independently without supervision and with a team.
- Strong over-the-phone conversational ability.
- Tech and computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM.
- Salesforce experience is a plus.
- A track record of business success and responsibility growth.
