The Dry Creek General Store is hiring a hands-on Assistant Manager to work directly under our General Manager in our bustling farm to table deli and retail store! Help us grown our catering program, farm, specialty food and gift shop, online store, bar and deli!
Job Duties
Oversee store daily operations
Mentor staff
Organize and delegate the workload for the food service staff
Create and manage the employee schedule and time off requests
Enforce disciplinary policies as needed
Build relationships with vendors and order ingredients
Oversee food quality
Take catering orders and oversee their execution
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
Coordinate food preparation at our offsite kitchen in downtown Healdsburg
Oversee daily opening and closing procedures
Ensure accuracy of ordering taking and payment in our POS system
Receive customer feedback and requests
Fill in and assist staff as needed especially during high volume times
Job Requirements
Must have leadership and food service experience in a high volume restaurant
Must be available to work weekends
Must have access to email
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have a passion for quality and flavor
